Understanding Secured Private Finance

Property Secured Private Finance

Property secured finance involves loans backed by the value of real estate assets.

These loans are secured by a first registered mortgage over a residential or commercial property in a metropolitan area.

Loan amounts typically range from 50% to 80% of the property value, as determined by a licensed valuer.

Asset Secured Private Finance

Asset secured finance involves loans backed by tangible, movable assets such as vehicles, trucks, trailers, equipment and boats.

The loan is secured by placing a charge over the asset, which can be warehoused by the lender.

Loans can extend up to 80% of the asset's value, based on a valuation by a licensed valuer.
